I spent a day with the senior team at True North Sports and Entertainment towards the end of March 2025. We spent a lot of time talking about uncomfortable conversations with people who report to you in your department. We didn’t spend time talking about what uncomfortable conversations look like with peers, or folks senior to you in the org chart. Here is a follow up video to outline an easy to use mnemonic ANTI SCARE to first prepare yourself and then an outline for the process of a difficult conversation.
